• Not knowing how to solve the problem.-- they are arguing about which kind of fiscal tools can best loosen the economy while keeping the interest rate at zero. From outsiders, the situation are chaotic and stupid.

1. the damage to reputation of economics
before: poplular. seems that polics and even the world are led by economics. And people appreaciate the economists very much.
ex: the praise to AG
now: economics has been less trustworthy, but still at the center of political debate.
now it suffers from skepticism.
ex: the Noble Prize Winner PK . BE meets doubts.
2. assessment to economics development nowadays
a. it lacks understanding. Many people are blind to its benefits.
b. economics and politics do not counteract each other.
c. economics need to be severely re-examined.
3. some problems from the critique of economics
two crusial dimentions--microeconomics and financial economics
problems:
a. lead to crisis
ex: Wall Street...
b. fail to spot crisis
ex: forgotten
c. no ideas to fix the problems
assumption: its premise is wrong
4. feels that there are board changes on the mind site
change--keep going and having communications with people
