同意enjoylife517 GG所说的“写作中尽量少用第一人称”。我原来上过1期ESL，老师跟我们说写作中最忌讳用第一人称了，她说用第一人称来表达自己思想的文章是处于一种很低级的写作水平，如果通篇很多“I”，作文分数一定高不了！一开始我也觉得挺不习惯的，但后来就觉得好多了！

用第三人称比较客观, 公正息息.

185. You have enough money to purchase either a house or a business. Which would you choose to buy? Give specific reasons to explain your choice.

Confronted with choices concerning purchase, people are always trying to make the wisest decision. One of the intriguing questions is whether to buy either a house or a business if one has enough money. In my view, to buy a business will be more satisfactory because a business can contribute more to our career, function as an investment and bring better opportunity to future life.

To begin with, owing a business can serve as a life time career.  Many people prefer to work in a huge company as an employee because of job security. Nevertheless, many more would rather start their own business. The reason is understandable: when people have a business, they dedicate more time, energy and attention to its development of the business. The up and downs of the business will affect their life so directly that they are eager to devote to it. To manage the busienss successfully requires the owner to improve its administration and management.   The owner need to pays close attention to the market and competition environment, taking the business as a career. On the other hand, owing a house will never offer people a career opportunity.

Next, a promising and well-managed business is an invaluable investment. No one does not anticipate his belongings increasing. Some people put an inappropriate portion of their money into stock, hoping that soaring stock indicators will inflate their investment. However, this sort of action is much more dangerous than investing in one's own business. The value of a house will sometimes increase, but a individual cannot control any of the changing since the value of a house depends mostly on the real estate market, rather than the efforts of the owner. Vitually when people reflect carefully to decide which business to buy and devote contribute their time and energy, mostly they will succeed in the business and accumulate both profit and experience.

In addition, after people choose an appropriate business and acquire it, the managing process will be rewarding. Most human beings cherish treasure the spirit more than the material capital. To control a business will assist the owner to learn new knowledge, practise up-to-date skills, and establish self-esteem. All these are the precious foundations for brighter future. It is evident that owing a house cannot fulfill needs in this aspect.

Still there exists some objection such that a house will be more rewarding practical because people enjoy a warm home. As discussed above, a business will render the owner improved chance to gather and earn more money. Probably the efficient investment will bring the owner a bigger house in a short notice.

In summary, my opinion is that to buy a business after careful consideration will avail render people better life. If we hope to encourage us with a good investment and enriched pleasing life, to buy a business is a good choice.

In the daily life, people are facing various questions, analysis of which will help people to improve the understanding of the basic factors of the society. One of such intriguing problems is whether parents are the best teachers. In my view, parents are the best teachers for their children in that parents are the immediate directors in the kids' life, the most impressive modle and whole hearted supportors of the children.

To begin with, children always learn the foundamental knowledge and skills from parents. When children start to open their eyes and sense the world, the first people they see are mostly parents. Parents teach children to speak, listen, eat, take physical exercise, play games, etc. During the long process of growing up, almost all the opening knowedge and skills are taught by parents, rather than the teachers in schools. Furthermore all this skills will be used continuously throught the whole life of every human being.

Next, children are always watching and observing parents. For example when parents are talking on the phone to some relatives on the phone, children usually try to hear the content. IF what the parents comment about the relatives is dramatically different from what they express in normal days, or if the parents do not behave the same in different occasions, it is very difficult for the children to be loyal and honesty in the later days.

In addition, parents care and support their children with almost unlimited love. The family bond is the most tight, whether in the US or in China and no matter in the antient times or nowadays. Parents devote endless attention to their beloved kids ever when the mother becomes pregnant. The deep rooted feeling will offer spur, incentive, encouragement, and financial help the children.

There is some objection that parents are not the best teacher because parents indulge their children. Admittedly many parents sometimes love the kids too much. However, this negative side effect can not ourweigh the  foundation for my view as discussed above. Whatever the standards, if the parents do not behave appropriately, children can not foster beneficial habits. Nevertheless, this point demonstrate my opinion with even more strength that parents are the most effective teacher for the kids, for better or for worse.

To summarize, the natural requirement indicates that parents are the best mentor in the life of the children. Children learn from many aspects of the parents. If the parents are not healthy mentally or physically, it is very demanding for children to master the necessary skills smoothly, or it could be a long term pain for the children.
