Daytime MBA program is not in Kunshan. There will be EMAB there. And Duke didn't plan to open Daytime in Kunshan, until now.
I read Duke is building a new campus in China - KUNSHAN. I thought Duke wanted to have an expanding strength in China - According to you, the admission rate for Chinese students is really low. I suspect they want to admit more Chinese students to study at the KUNSHAN campus in China, instead of Durham.

Duke has 900 seats, but only 15 spots for chinese? according to BW
http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/rankings/full_time_mba_profiles/fuqua.html (2010 figures, I think),
27% of its students comes from Asia, that translates to 240 spots, but the reality seems like it's a extremely small pool for Chinese students.  really? with the swarm of Chinese applicants, and we get only 1.7%of all the available seats? where the hell do the rest of those 26% from Asia come from?

6-week terms

Hi, erica100.  I'm a perspective student.
Paragraph in bold is the description of Fuqua's special term set, which I found in Fuqua's website. But I still don't understand the relationship between 6-week terms and longer class period. How does 6-week terms allow longer class duration?
Study is structured around 6-week terms rather than quarters or semesters. Each course meets for 2 hours and 15 minutes twice per week. Structuring the program in terms allows students to take more courses. Longer class periods give you as much class time per term as other business schools provide during a semester. Longer class periods enable faculty to cover complex topics during a single session and offer ample time for simulations, case presentations, questions, and discussion. They also offer the time for meaningful interaction with visiting members of the business community.

Could you please explain it?

Thanks for sharing, I've got some questions too:
1.most GMAT=700+ huh...how about 650....
although do have multi-international background...and worked in several industries too...
what's the probability to be a successful applicant?

2.How can we apply for a campus visit?

Cheers
