I read Duke is building a new campus in China - KUNSHAN. I thought Duke wanted to have an expanding strength in China - According to you, the admission rate for Chinese students is really low. I suspect they want to admit more Chinese students to study at the KUNSHAN campus in China, instead of Durham.
Duke has 900 seats, but only 15 spots for chinese? according to BW http://www.businessweek.com/bschools/rankings/full_time_mba_profiles/fuqua.html (2010 figures, I think), 27% of its students comes from Asia, that translates to 240 spots, but the reality seems like it's a extremely small pool for Chinese students. really? with the swarm of Chinese applicants, and we get only 1.7%of all the available seats? where the hell do the rest of those 26% from Asia come from? -- by 会员 superfans124 (2011/9/29 12:21:44)
