bat啊，刚刚看到你前不久问aeo版主with独立主格伴随的问题，我请问一下怎么判断with是独立主格还是一个介词短语呢？
还有with独立主格的逻辑主语到底看哪个呢？看到prep上说与主句主语有紧密的逻辑关系
如：The results of the company's cost-cutting measures are evident in its profits, which increased five percent during the first three months of this year after it fell over the last two years.  
A.    which increased five percent during the first three months of this year after it fell
B.    which had increased five percent during the first three months of this year after it had fallen
C.    which have increased five percent during the first three months of this year after falling
D.    with a five percent increase during the first three months of this year after falling  
E.    with a five percent increase during the first three months of this year after having fallen
D和E项，以前帖子里aeoluseros版主解释过 ：
D和E中increase需要有指代对象，而根据下面三条with做独立主格时用法，如果with表示原因，则其无修饰对象，increase也无所指。如果with表示伴随状态(因为前面是主系表)，那么with的逻辑主语成了results，错误。因此with独立主格在这里怎么看都是错的。

但是Visitors to the park have often looked into the leafy canopy and seen monkeys sleeping on the branches, with arms and legs hanging like socks on a clothesline.这句里
with的独立主格又修饰了monkeys应该是宾语吧，但句子的主语却是visitors

话说，这个问题我不敢随意答。。因为我跟aeo版主的看法不同。。而且，他功底深厚，我。。主要靠刷OG建立起的一套思想……
我觉得，你去SC开个贴吧先，然后记着多顶顶。我也不大好在with上随意发表意见。。但我肯定会去看的~恩恩。
我对于with的想法就都在我那个总结的with用法的贴里了，但是我真心不知道aeo版主怎么看那个总结。。不知道是否有些地方应当被批判。。

羊羊，我觉得A是支持，因为representative sample就是说很有代表性的，而all available data相对来说没有代表性，因为你不可能把所有所有全世界的data都拿到吧，嘿嘿，夸张了点，所以就是说有代表性的可以证明这个事实的存在便是支持了这个事实了。
