清华MBA 8月10日宣讲会纪实

昨天去了清华MBA的宣讲会，感触比较深：
1.        招生老师声音不大，但如同流水一样讲了近4个钟头没有停，当天总共来了250多人，最后近一半留下来参加Q&A，很多同学提了问，当时已经近夜里十点了，但老师对于每个问题都展开回答的很仔细，可谓相当的尽责
2.        虽然老师的语调一直很平淡，没有那种极富感染力的演讲，但听完以后最大的感触仍是由于百年的积淀，清华底气太足了，他们基本上没有想和其他家进行比较的意思，因为在很多方面由于他们资源的丰富，根本没有可比性，这种气场我想是一般学校没有办法在短期形成的；
3.        他们的MBA历史是20年，MBA校友有近7000个，在大的城市都有校友组织，且清华校友有抱团的传统，而且每年他们的招生人数应该是最多的，特别是在职项目，有200多人的名额；
4.        在职项目与全职项目课程设置上没有什么区别，主要是时间上，在职3年，全职2年，还有因为在职的关系，由于同学的工作经验都比较丰富，可能课堂讨论的方式会有所不同
5.        清华与MIT, Stanford总共近99个名校有交流项目，优先照顾MBA同学，有的项目是长期的（一个学期），可以拿对方的学位，有的项目是短期的（数周），可以优化简历，且这些项目申请人其实不多，如果想曲线出国的同学，这是一条好路。
6.        选修课的种类是非常丰富的，各类讲座专家的论坛也很多，他们不愁没有人来讲，只愁没有人来听，所以他们也欢迎有识之士没事儿的时候去清华多参加一些讲座论坛
7.        老师讲的很明白，清华的资源虽然多，但其实只是留给了那些表现上等的同学，如果你是No.1，那清华的所有资源其实都是你的；所以说清华奉行的是一种强者的文化，这种文化不见得适合每一个人。
8.        清华的底气还表现在老师谈就业问题上，他说清华毕业的学生不存在就业问题，这从来也不是一个问题，问题只在于毕业生的期望有多高，是否符合当时经济发展的情况，一般一个人拿3-5个offer是很普遍的情况。
9.        此外，清华还肩负着国家的导向功能，貌似他们希望毕业生能够尽量选择去国企那里做事业，提升国内企业管理的总体水平，最后当管理人才，而不是到投行去做一个没几年就会遇到天花板的高级白领；由此，我相信他们的就业中心应该也有很大的精力放在国企招聘上，所以如果有外企想往体制内转的同学，应该这里会是一个好的选择。也是因为本着这种原则，原先清华MBA较着重于金融经济领域的教育，但是现在已经把重点转为领导力的提升，相信他们已经不再满足帮着外企培养高级打工仔了。

总体感觉：

这个项目从学校方面应该是没有问题，但主要顾虑在于未来同学的综合素质上，根据昨天的提问情况，很多同学年纪不是很大，可能工作经验不是很丰富，所以他们的问题很多很类似，如：我这里不行，那里不行，老师你觉得我有希望申请成功吗？。。。。气场上有点弱，也许是被清华的气场压迫所致，

去国企工作是要靠关系的，起薪也不会太高。里面的关系错综复杂，能升到领导层的也是少数。

确实，清华也意识到了这点，所以老师也重点说了他们在进行大规模的招聘，专门挖世界排名前三十学校的老师，学院的院长正计划去美国开展这一期的招聘工作，看来也有迎头赶上的趋势，估计总体水平会提高一些，但顶尖的有个性的老师可能还是会选择体制外的学校多一些

从我的经验看，相同能力相同年纪的人，如果一个去了外企，一个去了国企，刚开始几年外企是很风光的，但是一旦干到了中层，差别会逐渐缩小且呈现出倒挂，国企的加速度很可怕，而且差别会越来越大，外企的天花板现象很严重，作为一个在外企干了近7年的人，这点挺有感触的

对，基本上如果仅看申请材料，申请者：面试者的比例为4，5：1 有了GMAT700成绩，可以直接被邀请去面试
