答案D。 表示非常不解，原文中并没提到1930年以前的房子都被废弃了啊，而且B选项貌似更合理，能容纳更多的客人，说明1930年以后的房子更牢靠嘛。。。。。。。

D 的意思是 木工质量越好的房子 废弃的可能性就越小 意思是writer 走过的房子 已经是 质量很好 经得起时间的考验了  是这些房子质量superior to that  after1930  但是不能说generally superior to the quality after 1930

B 应该是无关选项 能accommodate more people 又能说明什么呢

如果如D所说质量不好的东西更容易被废弃, 那么有可能1930之前有很多质量不好的被废弃了, 作者根本就无法去参观那些被废弃的房子, 所以他可能只看到了那些最好的房子而没有机会去看那些被废弃的, 所以这样的比较根本就不公平
