我觉得你把归你的工作做好了就有机会的很多负责项目的人都不是绝对相同的出身
最好是整个项目从头到尾你都跟过具备多些项目经验会有竞争力些

1 我在纽约。
2 工签有数量限制的，美国这边叫H1-B Cap，你可以去GOOGLE哦。本科以上6万5千人一年，硕士以上有第二次机会2万人。这几年经济不景气，竟然还有CAP没用完的时候。详情也可见：www.uscis.gov/h-1b_count 。H1-B转绿卡是卡国籍的，如我上贴所说。
3 你在美国开始工作的时候从TAX意义上叫Resident Alien，税率和PR/Citizen无异。所以只看是否结婚，收入高低，TAX CREDIT等。

To study EMBA does not mean that you can be qualified for real estate development indutry. You might find a job in real estate firm to be responsible for engineering sector or technical sector. Real estate just means two words, marketing and capital. If you plan to grow up to be a senior final decision-maker in real estate firm, you must strengthen you comprehensive qualifications. I think EMBA will help you improve your knowledge and insights for business in general. Of course, you need fully work in real estate firm or industry for many years. Then, you will realize that youe engineering knowledge will partially help you make decisions on business or on issues, but will not play important role. Your studing EMBA will shape you think about the business more comprehensively from all aspects of business. This is what I experienced ever.

我和樓主情况有點相似，本科在國內讀工程管理，碩士在香港讀construction project management。在香港六年的工作都是與房地產實業相關。正在准備美國的MBA申請，期望在那里能夠轉職業方向，從事房地產評估、開發等業務。p.s.我是RICS會員!
