I just got my background check completed.

Different schools check different things. For my school, they check my most recent employment history and recommendations. They use Kroll to check by calling my work place and letter writers. I'd advise you call your school for the format of background checking. If kroll can not get the information they want, they will call you, however they do check pretty closely on the date of your work, your pay and where you worked.

也想顺路问下，如果一个recommender是一个客户，不怎么说英文，这种情况下怎么搞？

理论上，如果你和Kroll有关系，那么就可以随意地瞎编简历。

background check时，是Kroll中国分部的人员负责打电话核查情况么？

我的推荐人口语很次，书面英语不错，别到时候一听口语怀疑不会英文从而影响推荐信的真实度啊？！

i am not sure, but my re commanders said that he was asked 1) If he know me
2) If he wrote the letters for me
3) If he is who I said he is .. ( a manager for DB bank or something like that)


I guess if your recommander can understand the above questions, he should be fine.
