36题还是不理解, 文章一段说新观点是说suffrage没有decline, 三段也是在用事实论证, 哪里来的什么作者disagree啊? 不理解, 想破头也不理解, NN解释一下吧!!!

第三段作者观点，转折decline，赞扬赞扬。

It is very vague for question 36. I actually cannot see any opinion from the author him/herself except the very dubious quote on "promise".

I personally think it is a poor question of 36.

After suffrage, they argue, the feminist movement lost its cohesiveness, and gender conscious-ness waned.  After the mid-1920’s, few successes could be claimed by feminist reformers: little could be seen in the way of legislative victories.

      During this decade, however, there was intense activism aimed at achieving increased autonomy for women,  broadening the spheres within which they lived their daily lives.
