今天刚开始看CR bible，虽然只看到前两个charpter但是有异曲同工之妙，很好很强大。楼主的版本精简了bible的精髓。

i cannot fully understand what is the first one saying, and this sentence "Those who defend this practice say that lying is necessary to counter Soviet disinformation campaigns aimed at damaging America’s political interests" really confuse me, can you explain something about the meaning in detail about the first one?
