i dont think so, most important is your essay response and your GMAT score. but worked for a blue-chip company will sure contribute a bit to your success.

go for well-known companies (assume they are well-known in US), name recognition is very important. B school is a business, they want to build relationship with big companies. every year, they have to show the potential employers how many people from their companies have been admitted to the school.
