如果说 fight with referees 是敌我矛盾， 那么fight with co-authors就是人民内部矛盾了。 毕竟不是一个人嘛， 总会有意见分歧的。一般刚开始合作都非常顺利（不顺利的也合作不下去）。 但是到有了R&R以后开始改paper了， 意见分歧就出来了。。。

fight with co-authors能多讲讲吗？好像目前还没碰到这个情况……

that statement is really not encouraging at all and shouldn't be here...anyways biz phd is so different than econ phds, or maybe depending on which school you attend, an easy example is biz phd is expected to go through the program smoothly, given all the support while econ phd has less funding and even qualify exams that kicks out ppl....entering a phd program really can have some other reasons, for example you wanna get to know a field better, curiosity based reasons are totally fine as long as you know what you're doing...a lot of leaders in industry have phd degree and that gave them trainings to succeed, ones that lower level education seldom gives...

如果想PhD毕业后进Industry，完全没有必要读博士，选择一个好的MBA 或者更专业的MSc。
如果你告诉系里的老师（特别是top30的Programs）：你想PhD毕业后进Industry，绝大部分老师会心里低看你一下，觉得这个学生没有必要花功夫去培养了
在北美，商学院的博士Program就是培养研究者和教授的。

是的，去industry读MBA 就够了，可是你有没有想过，多少读了MBA还是没混上去的？

那些混上的MBA又是付出了多少汗水才爬到那个你羡慕的位置？特别是开始几年的辛苦，你看不到。

还有，MBA是什么花销，读一个上百万，还不保证成功，你读phd的愿意来冒险吗？

你不能以那些成功的MBA为例，来说明读MBA的生活更轻松，更惬意。
