E是说 new ski resorts 导致 wooded areas减少了， 本来wooded area是能够 prevent avalanches的，现在这个能力没有了

因此 avalanches会增加

哈，今天一看就明白了。谢谢你的解释。
我有时候总是弄不清楚that 到底是修饰前面的句子还是前面的名词。像昨天理解成修饰句子。意思理解成 “wooded areas 减少 ” 这件事情 prevent avalanches, 所以理解成 c 会减少。
今天再一看，that 修饰 前面的 " wooded areas" 所以 wooded areas 减少 导致 avalanches 增加。

看来我还要好好补习下语法。
