Sorry I do not quite understand what is said here, as my Chinese is not that good or as I lack the necessary contextual knowledge. I think you are feeling strongly about something or, rather, making a point although you are doing so in a jocular way Are you saying that one enters a particular profession often not out of interests but out of necessity?

Well, partly.

What I was trying to say is I personally think the negative side of PhD has been amplified. I agree to an opinion that is every coin has two sides. Even those people feel that PhD is very painful, I don't think they could be happier if some of them had chosen not to pursue. There are people love their jobs but I don't think the portion is large enough.

So, I think keep on going will be a better choice unless the job feels really like suiciding.

如果不怕麻烦滴话，看我发帖纪录就知道，我的真相是搓搓的新加坡滴商学院。。。新PHD 没啥基础 好久没碰英语 所以才开始着实有点吃力拙计啊 而且我读的这个确实和北美不太一样 它是集中在一年把十门课干掉的暴力突破法
    记得以前有人发水帖吐槽为啥在一个二流商学院还如此苦逼balabala  我现在感同身受。。

不过 这些dark days终究会过去的 嘿嘿

你要求太高啦，还是很多老外同学整天relax的，别光盯着那两个最用功的呀。

SMO的几个都好用功啊。。。几乎个个都比我用功 我都囧了  SMO外的 就不关我滴事啦

弱弱地问，要求所有功课全A是美国名校商学院PHD的规定吗？

“早上睡早上起”是读商科PHD的常态吗？相信很多在美国商界工作过的同学会同意，工作也不时有早上睡早上起的时候，一年加起来有那么10几20天吧。

另外为啥要去实验室，找data通过个人pc不行？

我对商科phd还不甚了解，各位前辈指点哈！

Don't make these assumptions, but learn about these programs through this forum or other sources.
A business PhD program is not a prison!
