1. According to promotional material published by the city of Springfield, more tourists stay in hotels in Springfield than stay in the neighboring city of Harristown.
总体上Springfield的宾馆比Harristown的宾馆接待的游客多。

2. A brochure from the largest hotel in Harristown claims that more tourists stay in that hotel than stay in the Royal Arms Hotel in Springfield.
个例：Harristown的一家宾馆比Springfield的一家宾馆接待的游客多。

这两个并不矛盾。

显然，从这两条消息不肯能推出the Royal Arms Hotel是Springfield唯一的一家宾馆，注意题干中用的是"hotels". 即B

同时可以用排除法排除其他选项。
