2nd offer竟从Cass来+target school思考

X，写了一大堆，错按一个键，全没了

大意，不小心cass给了个con offer，只因某晚填了个网申，后因发现需纸推遂放弃，Cass却给con reference letters。
然后TSR查了，Cass算个IB的semi-target school，而相比美国，许多大家争得头破血流的香饽饽都不在target list上。

然后鼓励大家多朝欧洲的商学院望两眼，比如Bocconi啥的，绝对不必美国top30差，且就业基本保障。

For IB in Eurozone, Cass is far more difficult than Bocconi
Bocconi is in CS and UBS's list (S&T, and Risk control)
but i never heard Cass is on that list.
For HK, they are almost the same.
If unfortunately, you returned to china,
lots of stupid HRs will value 3nd tier school such as Case, Brandies or PPD as same as Bocconi...
However, Bocconi is far more great with respect to Quant finance....

in no way can Cass match Bocconi!
speaking of the 'semi', it's because according to resources available in TSR, u can meet students from Cass in almost every IB's interview.
However, it is LSE that is absolutely the beast in London

1. Cass is ok. But "就业基本保障"?? Mate, nowadays, no university gives you that. I mean, if students from lse find it hard to get a job iin London, then why students from cass would find it easy?

2. It is hard to define which UK school counts as a semi-target, and some even claim uk semi-target are ucl/warwick, since non-finance/economic course from those universities are not consideured equal by IB.

3. Personally, I think if you havent done any intern. before you arrive UK, it will not be easy (but ofc possible) for you to break into finance within 10 months even if you are studying in oxbridge, lse or lbs.

1, no uni can guarantee anything for students,  I adopted this term simply to show how dorminant Bocconi is in the Italien financial job market.

2, actually, I don't believe in a clear list of target schools. But surely HRs more or less have some subjective preferences over some others when screening hundreds of resumes.

3, that's the reason why I'm now considering jumping for another internship for more competitive experience. headache........
