在上海的top 30申友看过来[注意]
[face=Arial]Committed Aspirants Team (CAT)
**************** What is CAT? **************** Committed Aspirants Team (CAT) is an EXCLUSIVE, closely-knit (with a limited number of participants) application workshop for top 30 MBA applicants (and reapplicants) based in Shanghai. And CAT will make ChaseDream its home.
Are you a potential CATer?
1) Targeting ONLY at top 30 US and European MBA programs -- You know pretty clearly what you want from b-school and where you are in the applicant pool.
2) Planning fall 2004 enrollment and finished GMAT -- Test taking is a major part of application, but not the topic for CATs, since it involves mostly individual work.
3) With a minimum of 3 years' full-time work experience by fall 2004 -- Younger applicants may have a different approach towards application.
4) Located in Shanghai -- CAT will be a region-specific group as we are planning regular face-to-face gatherings and workshops in Shanghai.
5) Most importantly, committed to realizing your aspirations -- That is, you are fully aware of the opportunity cost of pursuing a top school MBA, especially during this economic downturn, yet still determined to take this road because... well, that's what you'll discuss in your “Why MBA” essay!
If you got 5 "yes", read on...
********************************** Why You Should Join "CAT"? **********************************
1) Meet pals: Feel alone in this long and arduous road to top b-schools? Need partners to share your views and get feedback? It's time to get to know others with the same aspirations and commitment. We can work together and help ourselves!
2) Exchange information: rankings & specialty, school insights, application tips, admission figures, placement situation...If each of us can contribute some discovery results, we'll all save tons of time in research.
3) Brainstorm ideas: self-evaluation and positioning, application strategy, essay topics, interview questions, application package, etc.
4) Keep an application diary: schedule planning, implementation tracking, result analysis and follow-up...Great for indisciplined procrastinators like me!
5) Attend face-to-face workshops: When we feel talking to virtual IDs is not thought-provoking enough, we can meet in person for mingling, in-depth discussions, mock interviews, and more...Facts have shown that such small-scale workshops are very helpful to dedicated applicants.
6) Polish your English: We cannot emphasize enough the significance of English communications skills in MBA application. English will be the group's default language.
