argument和conclusion有区别么？

题目中的weaken（或者是strengthen）the argument及the conclusion有区别么？我看manhattan上说可以把argument看成conclusion不知道NN们在有什么心得？

conclusion is part of the argument. But if you can cast doubt on the conclusion, you can weaken the argument.

So in terms of weakening, the difference between the two is subtle.

argument means line of reasoning. It includes the premises and the conclusion.However, according to GMAT logic. Premises usually will remain untouchable. It means the author of the argument believes his conclusion is true based on the facts-premises. premises are facts that lead to conclusion. thus, when you see weaken the argument. you need to attack the conclusion.

to strengthen the argument is to support the conclusion by providing additional information(premises) to prove the author's conclusion is true or to further prove the premises are acurate or true.
