I think the idea of taking CAT is to get used to the simulated environment and platform. I personally don't think there is any need to take ALL of the tests. Take a few of them will be good enough especially if your're pressed on time. The chances of you actually seeing an identical question on the rest test is probably next to nothing. Remember, most of the tests in the download area are simulated.
One full length test takes at least 3-4 hrs to finish. It's not how many tests you take but how well you're really prepared. This is a test of your ability, not how much you really know about a particular test.
OG is real (questions are taken from previous paper-based GMAT). So are PP3 (from ETS). When I said simulated tests, I'm only refering to Kaplan & PrincetonReview's computer adaptive tests.
I don't mean to say Kaplan or PR are not useful. Many NNs have used them to great results. All I'm saying is, don't stress yourself out by trying to finish everything you've downloaded. It's the quality that matters, not the quantity. If you have lots of time, it won't hurt, of course.
