in other words, it's the same as saying "less than the mean by a margin of more than 1 standard deviation".

我想楼主过分估计了这道题目的难度，而且看你选了5，估计是最后一句没断好句子。应该是more than 1 standard deviation／ below the mean ，而不是more than ／1 standard deviation below the mean 。

so＝》mean=100 that's easy to calculate,  1 S D=22.4 =>100-22.4=77.6.

more than 1 standard deviation／ below the mean,  which means, less than 77.6
