求教2道数学题！！

做Prep碰到的数学题，完全没有解题思路，请教高人详细指导，多谢多谢，小女子这厢有礼了！！1。 the table shows the number or shares of each of the 5 stocks owned by Mr. Sami. If Mr. Sami was to sell 20 shares of stock X and buy 24 shares of stock Y. What would be the increase in the range of the number of shares of the 5 stocks owned by Mr. Sami?

答案是15
这个问题问的是什么意思，应该怎么算呢？


2。 is m+z>0?
(1)m-3z>0;
(2)4z-m>0.
是both statement together are sufficient.
我两个连起来就得出3z<m<4z, 怎么就能推算出m+z>0呢？？

第一个不是很清楚，第二个我加的。。。1+2。。。m-3z+4z-m>0....然后就知道了吧。。。

没买卖前的range1是W-Z=67，买卖完之后最大的Y'=Y+24=118，最小的X'=X-20=36。range2=Y‘-X’=82。
range2-range1=82-67=15。应该是这样吧。

第一题range 就是最大值减去最小值
分别算出卖出前后的range就可以了嘛~

第二题3z<m<4z
只有z>0才成立，所以m>0，相加就大于零咯~
