此题答案是E；关键在于long overdue前的介词，如果用for，意味着颁发这个奖为了迟到的承认，逻辑意思不合理，正确的意思是颁发这个奖在迟到的承认；注意：“迟到的承认”是贬义的，所以只能用in，而不能用for。
