我一般题目读两遍.从头到尾之后你会发现头的a strong case can be made that the Greeks actually adopted alphabetic writing at least two centuries earlier的这句话和尾的for about two centuries呼应了,而过程中没有提到什么反对意见,所以CDE都排除了.这是作者的一个观点,相当于先提论点后论证. they would surely ...就是作者的主观判断,不是一个新发现.所以也就排除A了.不求每个字都懂,但大致意思要有个概念.

可以请问做boldface都是这样读关键字？有时候转折来转折，选项里还有position、argument、assumption、conclusion一起来，头都痛了。怎么应对呢？

我没有系统地弄过逻辑,这个问题还是留待更多大牛来回答你吧.我是时间来不及了,跑来专门回答别人问题顺便提高自己的.每个人都可以找到自己的方法吧.这类题我不太先看选项,看完题目自己心里先判断一下,选项没必要每个都读得很清楚,用关键词排除一下就可以缩小好几个范围了.

两句中间以及第二句到结尾没有否定词（最后一句中的but不算）说明全文没有驳斥关系 排除A,D，E 比较B和C
然后看第一句前面，case can be made that 说明B选项的position更好一些
