Hello, it would be my pleasure to offer up some guidance for you here.  Yes, of course real estate differs from country to country—even from City to City!  We say that the real estate business is a very LOCAL business.  And I should know, after graduating from HBS I worked for five years in the real estate business, before launching this company.  Today I continue to own, develop, and manage my own real estate assets here in the USA.
But it is VERY useful in the rest estate business to have contacts in the industry, around the world.  That is why we recommend that people do consider programs where real estate is very strong!  Wharton, CBS, and Haas are known for their RE programs.  So are NYU, UNC, MIT, Johnson, Ross, USC, and UNC.   Also, consider Wisconsin for a great program.  All these are known for real estate—and have great opportunities for you.
Hope this helps—and keep in touch!  Feel free to reach out to me if you have any further questions on real estate especially.

Hey there—well there are two very different answers here.  HBS has NO real estate program to speak of.  But…it is HBS.  So if you can get in, regardless of whether they have a real estate program, of course you should go!  There are two real estate classes at HBS.  Total.  J  UCLA however does have a pretty good real estate program, with classes and some good resources as well.  But of course, not the same reputation as HBS (or even Haas, for that matter.)

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the sharing at first.

Just one concern, so you think MBA-RE is like absolutely better than MS-RE?
