可以提供税务局开的个人所得税证明，也可以提供公司开的工资证明。

麻烦请教一下今年的educational loan 申请时需要提供tax return ，这个是不是个人所得税完税证明？税务局出具的吗？国外也认可？麻烦校友帮忙提供一下信息，十分感谢

International Citizens should complete:

International Application for Tuck School of Business Financial Aid (PDF)  (Educational Loans)
Signed copies of all pages of the latest tax return you filed in your country (and those of your spouse, if applicable). If you are not required to file a return, please submit a statement from your employer stating all earnings, allowances, and taxes paid during 2010. All amounts on tax returns, pay stubs, and financial statements must be converted to U.S.$, and the corresponding lines related to income, allowances, and taxes must be translated into English.

How would Tuck evaluate the international backgrounds candidates have? most of the top schools focus on the "quality" of working experiences, would you share your understanding of the word "quality" in this context?

I have been living, studying and workign in 4 different countries, together with short exchange and training experience in another 2 countries. currently working in IBanking but not front office, company is global name. my concern is that non-front office working experience may not be considered as very "quality".

Am preparing to apply in Q3 2012, thankfully so many MBA students share thoughts and experiences on CD, this is very helpful for future applicants.

我的理解这里说的是你的成就，所谓quality指的是你在你所在的group里面，你比你的同龄人优秀在什么地方，为什么你取得了别人没有的成就，重要的并不是你所在的行业或是职能，而是你的一些个人的leadership和品质。

Tuck的特点之一，是学校非常proud自己对整个community氛围的营造。我们的规模很小，我们这一届只有280个人（历史上最庞大的一届...)，也没有其他的part time MBA的课程，所以学校的教职员工都是围绕着我们转。我们的faculty会认真的记住每个人的名字，get to know每一个学生，因为每一个individual都是我们重要的一份子。学校会隔三岔五的给大家组织social活动，我们才来了一个多月，几乎每周都有参加不完的社会活动，比如说small group dinner, tuck tail, mexican party。因为我们这个小镇上连商店都能掰着手指头数得出来，所以大家都是低头不见抬头见。这也是学校的卖点之一，我们讲究的是network的quality，而我们来了之后，也确实深有体会。

Fall A的期末考试之后，我们交完试卷，一推开Stell Hall的门，就看到两列穿着西装的二年级把我们迎进去，每个人都手持香槟，对我们大声说“Congratulations! You made it through Fall A!" 还以为自己走错了地方，但是又一次感觉到学校安排的精心和周到。

Tuck也是我的dream school!!     目前准备申请NOV round.     想请教一道essay:
“How will your unique personal history, values, and/or life experiences contribute to the culture at Tuck?”
这个实在不知道走什么方向，要怎样描述才让人家觉得WOW。着重讲故事？描述个人价值观？还是？
PS: 我的Unique point 算是International experience了，在奥运会做过translator/team leader, (酒店管理专业)去年毕业了就直接来了阿联酋做酒店。但是我感觉这样写还是不够well-rounded.

对于这道题，有什么tips？期待各位tuckie 和 prospective tuckie 指点迷津！！

就像我上面说的，学校非常小，我们希望这个community是互相帮助的，我们希望你不光是一个非常有成就的人，还是一个愿意贡献自己所知，帮助别人的人。至于这道题嘛，我个人认为你需要说出你有什么特殊的经历或者能力是别人没有你有的，我认为你需要给出example你是怎么样回报社会的，而不只是向别人罗列自己的特点。Good Luck to you!
