请教各位，如果想去CAMPUS VISIT & INTERVIEW的话，交通方便吗？（从国内过去）
查了一下BWI的飞机挺少的，如果飞DCA怎么去学校呢？听说那里治安不好，多少还是有点担心啊～～

想问前辈们，social security number怎么获得啊？我已经交了定金，在注册JHED ID时让我填SSN的后5位数字，囧。。。我给registration写了信，她们不理我，再囧。。。

要有工作收入才有social security number，国际学生这个可以不用填的。

俺当时也遇到同样的问题，我问了Dr. Carly。答曰：回到你的在线申请系统中，看你当时填的姓名、地址的那一页，用他们自动生成的那个SSN的后5位数。

BTW，ANDY你收到邮寄的Pack了吗？

回fredrique, 我找到SSN了，非常感谢！！！还没有收到PACK啊，看你这么问，估计你也没收到，^_^，估计最近会来了。你交定金了吗？什么时候学校给寄I-20表啊？

Congratulations. For your information, there is a panel discussion for new students on Friday at harbor east campus and I will be there.
Btw, please be noticed that the SSN assigned to you by school is just a temporary one. It is not the real SSN, so do not use it for other purposes, such as rent houses.
I-20 will not be issued so early. Last year I received it on April.
Anyway, welcome to JHU.

Does DCA refer to any airport in DC?  As far as we know, BWI is the nearest airport to JHU Carey campus.  If if you take a taxi at BWI to the campus, it might cost you 40 dollars. Or you could catch an Amtrak train to Baltimore Pen Station first and then take a taxi to the campus. This will cost you about 30 dollars.

We certainly welcome the campus visit and interview.But flying to Baltimore from Beijing or Shanghai is not easy. You need to spend about twenty hours to be here. You need to quickly beat Jet Lag so that you could shine in front of admission officers. so think twice before jumping into an airplane.

请问一下，什么是panel discussion for new students。“谁”讨论“什么”？new students是指我们这样的admitted students吗？您will be there做啥角色？多谢回答
