Hello there! I would be happy to answer your question here. Given your GMAT score, you will not be able to apply to a top-ten program. But you will be able to apply to a top twenty program. So Carnegie Mellon, UNC, Emory—places of this caliber should be right in line with your background. Honestly, if I were in your shoes I would instead get a few years of work experience, and retake the GMAT. With some fabulous work experience and a 740 on the GMAT, you will be able to apply to a higher caliber of schools this year. After all, what is the rush? Hope this helps, and good luck!
