Yes, with only two years of work experience you absolutely CAN apply to top schools. The best schools in the world (Harvard, where I attended, and Stanford especially) are accepting increasingly young candidates. They will accept 20 or so students every year with absolutely NO work experience! This is the case more and more. In order to be selected, your profile will need to be VERY strong of course, with a great GMAT and a solid work experience if only for two years. But if you can achieve these two things, then HBS and Stanford especially will look at your application very eagerly! Good luck! Jon Frank, Founder -- by 会员 JonFrank (2010/8/12 21:28:05)
Thank you very much for your contribution here at CD JoneFrank! I have a question regarding "solid" working experience. Is Sales & Trading considered solid enought? How important is the "brand" of the bank itself? When you attended to HBS, were all the people with a banking background from Bulge Brackets and elite midmarkets? |
