depending on your career plan. If you love doing research and would like to take it as your career, apply for PHD. Otherwise, master degree is enough. It's not worthy living in the tough PHD program.

弱弱地问一下，大家陶瓷一般是套program director还是套具体的教授？
或者如果我只是套director， 我需要讨论我的phd的研究方向吗？我的导师是一开始我入学就有的吗 ？ 还是phd 的项目也是第一第二年大家一起上基础课， 到第三年以后才根据你的兴趣，具体给你分教授？

如果后者， 那我现在也不用具体套教授.不知道我的理解对吗？
