我觉得C的错不都在于重复论点，最根本在于
Most modern histories of Cyprus mention that an earthquake occurred near the island in A.D. 365.

这儿的介词短语很重要，他说的是在AD365有个地震发生在小岛附近，那我可以削弱他说：小岛上有很多个城市，那这个地震刚好没发生在这个K城市，所以，C选项不能support预测。
