我和你们的背景也有点相似，可能年纪比你们大点。之前在4大，US CPA， 现在在一间Menlo Park(CA) 的一间VC里工作。也有同样的Dilemma， 读FT MBA的Opportunity cost 太大了，真是麻烦。 互相交流一下吧~~

本人在新加坡9年, 做marketing, 现在NTU PART TIME MBA.

30出的上有老下有小, 供房养车的FULL TIME折腾不起啊. 而且MC和IB都喜欢年纪轻的. 其实做财务经理, 以后往CFO方向走, 也是很不错的. 真想搞个学历, 就找个学校拿PART TIME.

这两个学校的学费很贵, 不如投资房产稳当

To tpyc: agree with you on the opportunity cost... EMBA from ULCA should be a good choice for you I guess? How is VC life look like? High pay but frequent travel + long working hours?

To seanbb: thanks for the suggestion of CFO path. Also one of my direction
Investment in property is a good deal in Singapore indeed - 2 IRs will further generate demand.

However, the highest ROI will always be investment in education (provided it is the right one). Look at how much we paid for college education and how much we earn now.. i will be happy and satisfied if the payback of EMBA investment is 3-5 years!!

BTW, how much does NTU PT MBA cost? Around S$100k I guess?

I paid S$38000, this year is S$55000 if I am not wrong. Students are diversified. 10years working exp for PT students are normal case
