first diagnosis exam got 590, is it good or bad?

I haven't start review the offical guide yet, and took the practice test using prepsoftware,
i got 590, 47 for quant part and 24 for verbal part.

I set 40 days aside and will take GMAT on Aug 26, my goal is to get over 750....

Is it attainable? what can i do to improve my verbal part?

590到750……很艰巨的目标。时间也比较短，看你本身的基础和准备策略。
去学习置顶帖子吧朋友，然后找出最适合自己的方法。

quite easy

prepare your math section for more than a week, make sure you can get a 50+ in PREP software, then 750+is an easy task
