本人也认为选E
首先确定的是,结论为如果将要建设超长传输的光纤网络,LL公司将是最大受益者。所以,于此无关的都需要排除掉。本题求削弱。关于LL公司前景的

A,电线传输在被regenerate之前更远——但不一定regenerate之后也更远,不能直接削弱,因为题目再说regenerate如何如何;
B,扩大生产regenerator将使LL花费同比率的劳动力和材料,跟问题无关;
C,光纤可以承载更多信号,原则上应该是strengthen观点了,排除;
D,有一些技术可以既不用光纤也不用电缆,但是问题就来了,现在说的是LL跟光纤传输,而LL的收益直接原因是为了是光纤信号传的更远,D选项并没有提及跟是否能让信号传的更远等信息,而只是说另外有一种技术也可以传信号,属于新信息引入,且与内容无直接联系,排除;
E,有些厂商也在开发regenerator技术,并且可以传得更远,说明如果长距离光纤建立,LL公司也许不是唯一受益者,甚至完全不是受益者,因为可能这些厂商的产品更有优势,所以削弱。选E
