根据句子意思，我觉得That好像没必要吧，以为progress不可能HAS decimated native peoples，意思就完全错了，所以必须是devastation and enslavement have ecimated native peoples，这样that去掉读起来是不是比较顺啊

我感觉也是progress 不能decimate额

我觉得也是E....开始选B 就是觉得人才是decimate的发起者，后来再看看，觉得就只能是， CC has become to personify the D and E in the name of progress that have demated .....

这里personify 的用法：
We often personify the sun and the moon, calling the sun “he” and the moon “she”.
我们经常用“他”来称呼太阳, 用“她”来称呼月亮, 使他们人格化。

但是LS们，如果E的话，have是必然错的呀，必须是has单数，这怎么解释

1、the devastation and enslavements是一个整体，后面是process不是processes。肯定用 单数 Verb。
2、没有必要的时候，不要 乱用 discontinuous modifier。
3、that修饰the devastation and enslavements, 极为awkward, 重复的一塌糊涂。
看到的一个解释，觉得更有道理。
