这题考的是同类比较,非限定性定语从句，逻辑，句子结构。

A正确。there are for cod and haddock与There are no legal limits进行类比，句子形式对等，正确。A circumstancethat contributes to their depletion through overfishing是前面描述的情况的同位语，用来解释no legal limits on the size of monkfish that can be caught是怎样的一种情况。

整个句子是：As there are no legal limits onthe size of catching for cod and haddock, thereare no legal limits on the size of monkfish that can be caught，a circumstance that contributes to their depletion through overfishing.

B错误。Unlike引导的是将cod or haddock这两个名词与前面的句子进行对比，不对等，错误。并且，they指代不清晰。
