这个题是说，研发出来的新药要做实验需要10年的时间，而专利保护的时间是20年，所以相当于有10年就浪费掉了，所以研发的费用不recouped，也就是说收不回投资，因此药物公司才想要extend专利保护时间。

B 有一点点缺陷是应该加上 ... ; this period for other products is much shorter.

E 也有正确的味道啊. E说most patents of other products 不怎么有效,所以他们不是很care是20年还是30年 (反正没什么用) . 但是对于药品这种产品专利是非常重要的... 有点牵强了 呵呵.

同意ls的观点，我也是这么认为的应该有两个方向：
方向1：我们研发的时间太长，而其他行业很短，所以应该延长patent的时间收回研发成本，也就是B答案
方向2：我们的行业有有效的专利保护，而其他行业没有，比如computer（顺便联想到我们的山寨阿盗版市场），所以专利的时间效益对其他行业来说是没啥意义的，没必要去延长。。。。。也就是E答案
