【分词修饰请教】关于OG12-104&126解释的疑惑。

发现JTR 兄，加州妹，眼神哥说话都极其对账工整（平行对称），看样子GMAC的潜移默化能力非同一般。

你的解释很清楚。但是如果假设我们没有常识，那126题的B，E 选项都应该正确，因为没什么歧义。我的理解是：that和who都就近修饰Individual。请帮忙纠正一下我的错误。谢谢。

To luckxiang, i am sure B is wrong here cause "that" cannot be used to modify human, a rule given by GMAT. So its placed too far from "lying".

However i am questioning about E. As mentioned already, GMAT doesn't presume domain knowledge. So both A and E are grammatically correct. Besides, E uses "who", which can eliminate "creates ..." to modify "lying".

Could anyone answer that why E is incorrect?

I think it is not the "individual"  who creates unconscious physiological responses but the "reactions" do. Hope that helps.

我觉得英语中的分词的指代问题是英语的一个局限，因为它太想表示清楚这个逻辑，所以每个动词都希望有对应的主语，如果这句话用中文来表达的话就是：说慌会产生情绪上的反应，然后产生无意识的生理反应，测谎仪的使用正式基于这样的一个假设。差别在于在中文中不需要很明确的指出后面的生理反应是什么东西造成的，而英文中没有代词可以去指代一整句话，如果要用中文的表达方式的话，动名词其实是更好的选择。当然从这道题来说，A显然是更符合英文的表达方式了。但是如果三个名词都是复数的话，这种方式也不行了。（哎，感叹下中文的博大精深）

  感觉大家都忽视了“in turn”的作用，  考虑in turn包含的这种逻辑：A 产生 B；B, in turn，C。题目中即使无具备专业知识，由于in turn的存在，也应该明确其正确逻辑关系应该是 lying 产生reactions, ______ , in turn ,产生 response. in turn前须为reations。
再者，从GMAT答案须“对称&美”的要求看，也可以排除B,C,E，in an dividual 是produces的范围状语，属于lying主produces谓reactions宾的儿子辈，B\C\E 中 create 都由儿子辈发出；与前面分析in turn暗示的逻辑关系矛盾，实为乱伦，不“美”，排除BCE。

啊，前面那位L同学说的很好。不过谬误是很明显的。

that的指代虽说没什么章法，但绝对不至于修饰主语lying去。

我见过跳过that 跳跃2个介词结构去修饰中心词的。但从没见过 that跳跃了宾语和谓语，去修饰主语的。

请各位在反驳我时，加上OG，prep的例证！ 多谢~
