考试迫在眉睫,作文求狠批~~~

本人下周就考了,作文还没完整的看完。。
下面是自己写的一篇ISSUE

求各位能人狠狠批判~~

`Never tell people how to do things. Tell them what to do, and they will surprise you with their ingenuity.~
To what extent do you agree or disagree with the opinion expressed above? Explain your point of view by giving reasons and/or examples from your own experience, observations, or reading.

Your Answer:
It is a complex and controversial issue of whether we should tell people how to do things or only tell them what to do. On the one hand, people will show their creativity and intelligence when they have freedom to do things in their own manners. On the other hand, a lack of restrictions sometimes will cause serious consequent of the individual or the company. In my opinion, I would like to be in favour of the latter one, that is, we should tell people how to do things, and the following reasoning will substantiate my view.
In the first place, I admit that providing people with freedom to complete tasks will bring benefits under some circumstances. For example, it can stimulate the imagination and creativity of children when they are asked to draw his or her ideal pictures of life. When engineers are free to finish their own jobs, we may obtain the best way to save our money or have the best equipment.
However, there are also many disadvantages for people to do things only following what to do. For one thing, it will increase the time to complete a task. Take a green hand of the company for an example, he or she is asked to collect information of the competior company for the manager but is not told how to gather useful information. The green hand may use many means to complete the work by surfing the internet, by asking senior workers or by looking at the resources in the company, but it is not certain that the information he or she collects is useful for the manager or is just what the manager wants. It not only wastes time but also gathering something meaningless. For another, not knowing how to do things will cause lost for the company. For instance, a worker in the shippment company doesn't know how to arrange the schedule of the ships. He or she may spend an amount of time seeking the various ways. Neverthless, when the woker finds the solution, the ship is delayed and the shippment company needs to pay a great deal of money for the customers.
To sum up, it is a good idea to encourge one's ingenuity by not telling him or her how to do things, but it is unwise for us to recommend this opinion in all situations. We need to employing it depending on the accurate and specific condtions .
