For years the beautiful Renaissance buildings in Palitito have been damaged by exhaust from the many tour buses that come to the city. 选C,可是为什么B不对呢?由于没有其他污染,所以有更多paking 这样尾气也少了 建筑物自然受尾气伤害少了啊 ~~~~我看好多NN都说b无关,为什么呢

文章结论是采取了一个什么措施导致了危害减少

B给了一个其它的原因,但没有围绕这个措施怎样怎样在谈,所以无关

记住GMAT文中没给的信息就当不知道,别自己联想~

P 城市的建筑被来到P城市的旅游车的尾气破坏了。由于没有足够的停车位,所以这些旅游车就每一站都在路边idled(汽车不开,但是发动机开着,同样产生尾气)而车这种行为所产生的尾气和汽车在运行时产生的尾气一样多。所以这个城市就想出一个办法,建了更多的停车场,能装下三分之一的旅游车(这样一来汽车就可以把发动起关了停在停车场中,就不会产生尾气)所以P城市汽车产生的尾气就大大减少了。
C 是说旅游车很少在P城市transport游客(暗含的意思就是说汽车在运行时产生的尾气本身很少,这个城市本来的大量尾气是来自于汽车idle在路边,所以城市尾气的减少主要是因为汽车不再idle)support结论
B 的意思是P城市的建筑没有被其他pollution影响,而是(other than)被汽车的engine exhaust污染,(我个人认为engine exhaust 包括汽车空转时产生的废气和汽车运行时产生的废气)这样一来根据conclusion是汽车空转是产生的废气减少了,所以城市污染就减少了,得出这样一个结论应当控制汽车运行时产生的废气不变或者减少,而B选项没有这样。C选项则是针对了这一点。

关键在于:根据题意:城市的总污染=汽车运行时产生的尾气+汽车空转是时的尾气
                 现在:              下降                             ↓                         下降
                                                                   则必须不变

虽然lz已经明白了,但是我当时也做错了,所以也啰嗦一句哈
注意文章的最后一句话so damage to Palitito's buildings from the buses' exhaust will diminish significantly.
所以我们只要support只要idle产生的废气少了,由汽车废气造成的危害就少了 ,就可以了
除了汽车废气意外还有没有什么别的污染环境是无关的~

所以我们只要support只要idle产生的废气少了,由汽车废气造成的危害就少了 ,就可以了
除了汽车废气意外还有没有什么别的污染环境是无关的~
