This note serves as an update regarding the use of Olin’s international student loan as a source of funding on the Declaration and Certification of Finances (DCOF) form. For the 2010-11 academic year, Olin will provide all international Full-Time MBA students the option to take out a loan that does not require a U.S. co-signer; the maximum amount of the loan may not exceed full tuition minus any Olin scholarship. For the upcoming year, the tuition charge will be exactly $44,300. You may now choose to identify “Olin MBA Loan” as a source of funding on page 2 of the DCOF under either the section entitled “loans” or “other.” If you choose this option, please also identify an exact dollar amount not to exceed the aforementioned limit.  lease note that by filling out the DCOF in this manner, you are not obligated to apply for or take out the loan. Rather, you may make that decision once you arrive on campus this summer, at which time we will provide you with details regarding the terms of the loan. Once your paperwork arrives at our office, we will include an official letter from the MBA Admissions Office that confirms the funding amount. This will then be sent to our Office of International Students & Scholars (OISS) for the processing of your I-20. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
