Marketing Internship Summary:
Fueled by our unmatched commitment to the advancement of patient safety and care, Cook Medical is in search of qualified candidates for our Marketing Internship Program. Paid internships in Marketing are offered for a period extending from mid-May through mid-August (Exact dates depend on school calendars.) All internships provide hands-on experience with meaningful projects in the Medical Device Manufacturing Industry.

Sample Projects:
Internships have included: Direct involvement in launching a medical device into the market; developing new approaches for Marketing to different customers; development of brand management strategies for medical device business units (e.g., Aortic Intervention, Women’s Health, Surgical, Critical Care); attending industry job fairs to collect market research data from direct customers; designing marketing literature to support the sales team.

Support:
Mentor interaction is a valuable tool for the Marketing internship experience. In an effort to provide a nurturing environment, interns are assigned a direct mentor who provides a unique perspective of life at Cook. Mentors are chosen from across management levels, and all mentors are responsible for the day-to-day activities of their interns.

Requirements:
? All candidates should have an interest in a career in the Life Sciences field, a willingness to take initiative and an ability to work well with others. ? Graduate students are preferred. ? A minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred. ? Multiple disciplines will be considered (e.g., Marketing, Life Sciences, General Business, Management)

Leading marketer and licensor of branded apparel products is seeking a Regional Manager to grow business in Asia Pacific markets. This role requires a passionate and effective individual who will be responsible for business development and account management strategies. He/she will drive strategic thinking, development, and tactical execution. This is an exceptional opportunity to make an impact and grow within a great company.

Based in the Los Angeles, California area― this position will report to the Group EVP. He/she will work closely along side the US domestic and international management teams. Our ideal candidate will have top-line brand management experience, solid business development background, and team leadership skills.


Key Responsibilities-

- Leads business development/account management strategies and execution for assigned channels/brands.

- Develop and implement seasonal sales strategies for assigned channel/brands/territories. Creates new brand extension opportunities.

- Represents brand in the market. Develop and maintain key relationships with current and potential partners in assigned region.

- Lead new product introductions, develop presentations, and update sales/marketing materials.

- Perform regular competitive analysis, recommended actions and implementation of competitive strategies.

Qualifications: The Must Haves…

- 5+ years channel/brand management experience with major retailers (Wal-Mart, Kmart, Target, Lowes, Sears, etc…)

- Experience working with Senior Managers in Purchasing, Marketing, Advertising, and Product Development.

- Strong analytics background, experience using Excel, Excel Pivot Tables.

- Experience using syndicated data (Nielson, NPD, IRI ), a plus.

- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA a strong plus.

- Bilingual Skills (English/Mandarin) Korean and Japanese skills a strong plus.

我拿到Offer有3 周了多了，但奖学金还未有消息。 今天给Admissions Office打电话问。回答说还要等3周。 是这样吗？
