被BU 数学金融拒了

真的好难过，拿他保底的。
美国top本科 数学专业
GPA 3.73
前两年 3.9
后两年3.53 （其中一个学期期末考试生病了，烂得比较集中，上学期都是A）
G Q800 V440 writing3.5 （因为上学期忙研究，所以没怎么复习直接考得。不知道是不是这个原因）

现在被他拒了我心都凉了
还有其他几所，我把transcript寄过去了，现在不想交application了。觉得交了也是白费钱。
哭都哭不出来了

My suggestion is to prepare another 4-6 schools targeting -20; -50; -80 ranking. FOCUS on the schools you really want to go this year.
Your GRE looks a bit weak, but it shouldn't be a determing factor in your application since you are graduting from a top undergrad program.

If nothing happens, try it again next year. Not a big deal. You are still very young!

谢谢 我现在都麻木了。怎么连waiting list都不给呢。
我的数学成绩除了A就是A-， major GPA有 3.75 我GRE没怎么复习因为我们本校说V过了400就没问题了。writing没人看。我当时忙着帮教教授搞研究，所以也没怎么准备。
我现在想是我的成绩不行还是教授在信里面说了什么
我现在都没有信心了。

教授应该不至于那么离谱，在心里面除了赞扬和大力推荐还说别的什么吧！

想起来了，给我ND推荐信的老师是系主任，很想我留在本科的学校读研。会不会~~~哈哈，就当会啦，我心里就不会因为悲剧而过于自责

LZ不用伤心，今年的BU很奇怪，很多强人都被拒了
还有GPA 3.9的
所以拒你不代表你比别人都差

要想加强背景的话
考个SUB是王道
另外想RETAKE GRE也可以，毕竟美国的GRE那么简单，一个月的事情

我觉得能用BU保底的，不应该是这个G分数。如果你要碰运气，申请别家肯定有中的。如果你想好好申请不错的学校，你的GRE V是硬伤。
