正确答案是A.
此题是CAUSE AND EFFECT 题, "the depletion of ozone layer" causes "the declining amphibian population",
A选项only type that can damage genes 对结果the declining  amphibian population 没影响, 因为在文中已经提出UV-B "which can damage genes", 所以是不是唯一类型的没有任何作用.
D选项是排除他因, 也就是没有其他原因导致两栖动物数量的下降,如污染等没导致自然栖息地的减少等.

答案应该是D吧。
原文说的是两栖动物的数量，可是D说的是栖息地没有变小，跟原文无关。

D选项是排除他因, 也就是没有其他原因导致两栖动物数量的下降,如污染等没导致自然栖息地的减少等

讨论过了 是A  D确实看起来是排除他因,比起A来要好一些, 但是D也是需要用到Common sense的, 并不能说是完全对.大家不用纠结在答案上, 因为对于D选项的争议体现了LSAT与GMAT思路的不一样. 前者有时候会用到常识, 而后者是不用的.  大家了解思路就好了.
