我想问这题的conclusion是哪句话呢？

刚开始看的时候我觉得第二个黑体字所在的句子是结论，于是在5个选项中找conclusion，结果没有。

OG对A选项的解释是rather, it is relied upon as the basis for the argument's conclusion
即第二黑体字是conclusion的basis，那么请问conclusion到底是什么啊？

However表示的是一种转折，一般Author支持的观点在转折之后给出

Both boldfaced portions are in second part.The first provides evidence to support an explanation that the argument favors ;the second  is that explanation.
