大家觉得Duke和Michigan哪个好

如题。貌似今年Duke的Market presence做得很好，而且参加活动可以节约申请费150美刀，但是相比之下Michigan在recruiter眼中和在美国的排名好像比Duke高些。大家发表观点吧。呵呵

I personally think that both Michigan and Duke have great MBA programs; however, in the U.S. the Duke brand is stronger than Michigan's and in China Duke has done a great marketing job. Overall, (if I must chose) I will go with Duke over Michigan.

Additional benefits for attending Duke: The WEATHER. I have applied to Chicago Booth; however, one thing that really bothers me is the super cold weather of Chicago (I absolutely love Booth that's why I am willing to accept the fact that the weather sucks in Chicago). The weather in Durham, NC (where Duke is located) is great. I have visited the Duke campus and it is absolutely beautiful. It would be great to spend two years of your life in an environment like that.

我也插嘴问一个。。。。Duke和Cornell的校园环境是不是差不多漂亮吖？气候因素除外。。。。

如果你谈的是大学的整体名气的话，无疑是DUKE高，一流私立和一流公立。

商学院来讲，如果非要较真的话，Ross应该稍好那么一点，毕竟Fuqua只有40年历史，Ross有80多年历史。但侧重有些不同，主要还是根据自己喜好选择。这种一个档次商学院的比较，谈论谁好谁不好没啥意义了，主要从自身偏好，专业方向，气候偏好，生活习惯，奖学金，文化等多方面。

我申请了Duke没申请Ross。但我觉得这两个学校很类似，排名差不多，地理位置都比较偏僻，都是General management强项.....天气肯定有区别毕竟一南一北，不过这个不太重要吧.......

类似排名的学校挺多，UCLA, Darden等等都属于这个级别.....看自己的喜好了....

但今年Duke申请人数激增，竞争比往年（包括去年）都激烈得多

Let me clarify myself … I would never choose a school based on the weather … hehe
However, if I perceive two schools as identical in terms of faculty, job placement, scholarships, strength of alumni network in specific countries etc. (key factors), I would also look into other sub-factors that might differentiate the schools.
In my opinion Duke and Michigan are similar in terms of faculty and job placement. The main difference remains in the strength of alumni network in China (Duke might have the upper hand) and weather (Duke).
Just my $0.02.
