I have serveral reasons to apply UT, first of all, Austin is known for the next silicon valley, many of my current customers are located in Austin, I would love to have this regional network.  Secondly, I'm very interested in the global connection program.  In today's manufacturing environment, it's extremely important to understand different cultures and different operation systems.  I want to take full advantage of the PLUS program and the global connection program to visit as many countires as possible.  Lastly, I value the people in the program the highest.  The McCombs collaborative culture truly attracts me.  I felt instantly connected with the current students thoughtout this trip, their willingness to help each other is something I've never seen at other programs.  Although my work experience is quite different from most students, I can see myself being an MBA student at UT in the near future.
