我还没交申请呢。gmat 640, gpa 3.3, double major, 3 yrs global sourcing, founder of a non-profit school. 不知道texas是不是你们的后背选择，但是他们招生办得很心知肚明，他们不太喜欢gmat分高的（这话他们说的），更看重social 和课外活动。建议你们写文章的时候尽量把自己写的多才多艺，而且交际面广。

哦， UT是我最想去的学校之一。因为很喜欢那个城市的气氛！ 也喜欢校园。 希望不要要求太高的分数，因为在职，今年8月才考虑出国的，所以估计成绩很难和很多人比拼。估计就靠对school 真正的interest和其他活动了！ 谢谢分享阿！

I have serveral reasons to apply UT, first of all, Austin is known for the next silicon valley, many of my current customers are located in Austin, I would love to have this regional network.  Secondly, I'm very interested in the global connection program.  In today's manufacturing environment, it's extremely important to understand different cultures and different operation systems.  I want to take full advantage of the PLUS program and the global connection program to visit as many countires as possible.  Lastly, I value the people in the program the highest.  The McCombs collaborative culture truly attracts me.  I felt instantly connected with the current students thoughtout this trip, their willingness to help each other is something I've never seen at other programs.  Although my work experience is quite different from most students, I can see myself being an MBA student at UT in the near future.

能问一下楼主why Texas是怎么答的吗？

加油，要有特色才会被注意。所有的国际学生成绩都很好，在平均分左右的gmat就够了，关键看你是否真的喜欢这个学校。
