大全-3-5. A weapons-smuggling incident recently took place in country Y. We all know that Y is a closed society. So Y’s government must have known about the weapons.

答案是E

可是我觉得思路有问题。用经典的取非来做，E取非为government不一定知道所有的发生在这个国家的事情。那么假如他知道所有关于weapon的事，但其他的事则不是全知道呢？这样取非，原文推论照样成立。

但是至少E选项可以使题目中的推论“logically right”吧，这也正是题目要问的，原题并没有问必须的假设是什么，虽然E比起只知道武器来说外延了一些，可是仍然可以使题目中推论logically right，而你说的证明了“知道关于武器的事”是最基本的不可缺少的假设，但不排除E仍然可以满足题目要求

题目问题中的“assumption”我个人认为仅仅是虚指，而不是像一般题目中的“based on what assumption”同样的意思，这两个地方容易混

这个题目问的并不是题目中推论完全基于下面哪个假设

关键是题目中有MUST,如果government不一定知道所有的发生在这个国家的事情（取非），那么就会削弱结论must....,因此E为假设。
