继续请教数学题目

Q2:

The ratio of the number of women to the number of men to the number of children in a room is 5:2:7, respectively.  What is the total number of people in the room?

(1)   The total number of women and children in the room is 12.

(2) There are fewer than 4 men in the room.

这道题当时毫不犹豫地选了A，结果答案是D。。。仔细想了想，是不是当MEN少于4个的时候总人数必定小于28，于是就只能有一种结果就是14个？？？

Q7:

If y is an integer and y = ½x½ + x, is y = 0?

(1)   x < 0

(2) y < 1

这个题目的答案是D。我觉得不对啊。(2)怎么会满足呢？如果X是0.01的话，那Y就是0.02，还是小于1啊，但是Y不等于0。。。

Q13:

If x is negative, is x < -3?

(1)   x² > 9

(2) x³ < -9

又是一个我想不通的题目。答案是A。为什么（2）不满足呢？？？？

Q31:

One kilogram of a certain coffee blend consists of x kilogram of type I coffee and y kilogram of type II coffee.  The cost of the blend is C dollars per kilogram, where C = 6.5x + 8.5y.  Is x < 0.8?

(1)   y > 0.15

(2) C ≥ 7.30

答案是B.我选的是E.想了半天没想出来为什么（2）可以？？？

6.5x+8.5y=c

c>7.3

so 6.5x+8.5(1-x)>7.3 , so x<0.6

1。 man小于3时，是无法比出题目所给出的这个比例的，当man小于4时，man可取的数有1，2，3，要是取1或3，woman的人数就会相应取一个非整数，这样不符合逻辑，所以man只能取2，这样答案也就是唯一的了。

3. x=-2.5时就不满足了
